About

A robot that turns theory into a physical experience

R0607 is an open-source education project — not a product for sale. It combines a modular robot, a full computer, and an on-device learning companion so beginners can move from first commands to autonomous behaviour without sending their work to the cloud.

The concept

Imagine · Learn · Create

Most courses keep code on a screen. R0607 connects every lesson to hardware, so dry theory becomes a hands-on, physical learning experience for the next generation of engineers and creators.

Imagine

Design your own robot

Decide what to build with modular tech bricks — compatible with the popular technical building kits you may already own: a tracked rover, a car, a walker, or a robot arm. The case is modular, so your ideas are not limited to one shape.

Learn

From first move to autonomy

Start by making the robot move, then add sensors, then make it think. Each step builds on the last across programming, web, robotics and AI.

Create

Build something that matters

Apply what you learn immediately. The robot is both the textbook and the project — you keep creating as you learn.

The learning journey

Build it, move it, make it think

R0607 follows a simple idea: code is behaviour. Instead of staring at abstract examples, you give instructions and immediately see them happen in the real world. Every step builds naturally on the one before.

Step 1

First control

Set things up and send your very first command. Within minutes, something physical responds to a line you wrote.

Step 2

Programming as behaviour

Learn the core ideas of programming by shaping how your robot acts — loops, decisions and logic become movements you can watch.

Step 3

Build and play

Create small games and interactive projects that make programming fun and tangible before things get more advanced.

Step 4

Into the physical world

Add sensors and motors. Your robot starts to feel its surroundings and react to the real world around it.

Step 5

Learning systems

Discover how machines learn. Give your robot the ability to recognise, decide and improve — the foundations of AI.

Step 6

Fully autonomous

Bring it all together so your robot navigates and acts on its own — from your first command to a machine that thinks for itself.

The brain module

A full PC at the core

The heart of R0607 is NVIDIA Hardware running Ubuntu — a complete computer, not a locked-down toy.

Just plug in and work

Connect a monitor, keyboard and mouse and use it like any normal PC. Everything you need to build and program an autonomous robot is pre-installed.

Simple drivers, real hardware

Special drivers mean beginners can move motors or read sensors with simple calls — no need to first understand I2C, PWM or low-level wiring. Those details are there when you are ready for them.

Beyond robotics

A creative studio in one box

Because R0607 is a full computer with cameras, it is not only for robotics. When you are not building robots, it is a capable machine for creating all kinds of things.

Capture

Photos, video & music

Use the built-in cameras to record and edit video, and make music — turning your robot kit into a little creative studio.

Design

3D design your own parts

Model custom parts and accessories on the same machine, then make your robot truly your own.

Make

3D print and build

Send your designs to a 3D printer and bring fresh ideas into the physical world — for your robot or anything else.

The Learning-Hub & AIVA

Your personal learning companion — on-device

The Learning-Hub runs directly on the brain module and includes AIVA, a voice-enabled learning companion powered by on-device speech-to-text, text-to-speech, a language model and a RAG trained on the integrated courses.

Talk and learn

AIVA speaks and listens, guiding you through concepts and helping when you get stuck — like a patient mentor that lives on the robot.

Integrated courses

Learn the programming basics, web development, robotics and AI/ML — up to fully autonomous AI development.

Many languages, one robot

Work in Python, C++, Rust, and Node.js with TypeScript and Next.js for the web — all connected to the same robot.

Privacy & openness

Privacy-first, open-source, free

Because everything — including the AI — runs on the robot, no data is collected and nothing leaves your device.

Your data stays with you

No cloud dependency, no tracking, no accounts required to learn. Privacy is a design principle, not an afterthought.

Open and free to use

R0607 is a private, open-source education project. It is free to use for private and non-commercial purposes — built to grow a community of creators, learners and builders.
